The Casula Powerhouse

Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre

Casula Powerhouse, a successful example of adaptive reuse of a former industrial facility, reopened in early 2008 following a $13.26 million redevelopment. The former 1950s power station is today a multi-purpose arts and cultural centre with galleries, a 328-seat theatre, artists studios, parklands and more. Located on the banks of the Georges River, the Casula Powerhouse is accessible by rail – disembark at Casula Station, or by road off the Hume Highway at Casula Road.

Casula Powerhouse exhibitions are open Monday to Sunday, 10am-5pm.
